“These are the days” is a series created in Genk, Belgium during an artist residency in the month of August 2012.
Genk is a former mining city which attracted a large number of immigrants from across Europe in the second half of the last century.
This project aims to explore the uncertain and suspended time that has enveloped the area since the mines and other factories definitely closed.
